Answer #1

Planning:

  • Planning is always been the part of development and must always be done but upto an extent because planning beyond the need can be harmful too.
  • When talking about the Object Oriented System Analysis and Design Projects there are certain highly moduled projects taking place with too much of complexity.
  • Planning too much upfront can lead into planning about the current phases extremely which will lead to change in the later phases and can be so harmful either ways.
  • There are certain unknown factors in the projects which makes it next to impossible to know every constraint in advance. So many things are needed to be discovered during the process of detailed designing and the implementation stages.
  • Too much of the planning can be marked as wastage of the efforts when there are unknown factors bound to pop up in the coming future.

Hence, the focus must be on the flexibility instead of the rigidness which will be coming with excess of the planning.
