Both are similar in the sense that nausicca was a devestating beautiful goddess- enchantress and calypso was a devestating beautiful goddess-nymph.

Both of them contrast in their motives towards and treatment of odysseus. After odyssues conquers nausicca, she does everything to help him. He was excellent hottess and lover of odysseus.

Calypso on the other hand is egocentric, dominating goddess who hold odysseus for seven years in hopes of marrying him.

When he resists and is liberated by Hermes under orders of zeus, calypso offers him immortality if he will stay.

When he declined even that offer, calypso leads odysseus to believe that letting him go is her idea.
