u1 = 41 cm

use, 1/u1 + 1/v1 = 1/f1

1/v1 = 1/f1 - 1/u1

1/v1 = 1/20 - 1/41

v1 = 39.0 cm

let f2 = -14 cm

object distance for the second lens, u2 = -39 + 11

= -28 cm

let v2 is the image distance due to second lens.

use, 1/u2 + 1/v2 = 1/f2

1/v2 = 1/f2 - 1/u2

1/v2 = 1/(-14) - 1/(-28)

v2 = -28 cm
