The gel loading dye is 6X times more concentrated than final solution.

The amount of 6X dye to produce 1X solution is calculated as shown below.

workingconcentration ×1 = Final uolume/initial concentrationof solution

Put the values of final volume and initial concentration in the above expression.

working concentration\times1=20 uL/6=3.3 uL

Therefore, 3.3 uL of dye is needed to make 1X solution.
