Yes, A Tough conversation can impact the trust of the Trustee in eyes of the Trustor as it may hamper the feeling of love and affection of the trustee in the eyes of the victim (Trustor) and he may not share his feelings with anyone else again with a fear that the trustee with take advantage of the weakness of the victim (Trustor).
It is very hard to establish Trust as Trust is where you express your weaknesses and secrets in front of someone you believe that he will not let you down no matter what and It is very hard to rebuild trust once broken as it may disappoint or frustrate the victim and he may not be able to trust anybody again and in order to maintain trust one needs to be loyal, So that the relationship of the Trustor and Trustee last longer with mutual understanding.
The Things one can do to rebuild trust in a team when it has been damaged is to not repeat the mistakes which were made earlier by the trustee, Assuring the trustor that his trust won't be broken again.
