In neuro transmitting signaling, molecules called neurotransmitter are released by the axon terminal of a neuron and then bind to the receptor and then react with the receptors on the dendrites of another neuron a short distance away.

2. True

Formation of ATP from ADP and a phosphate group is a anabolic reaction. Anabolic reaction means joining of smaller group into larger ones, opposite of catabolic reaction. ADP is converted into ATP for storing of energy by the addition of a high energy phosphate group.

3. Pyruvate because gluconeogenic pathways converts pyruvate into glucose whereas for glycerol to get çonverted into glucose it first has to converted into pyruvate or enter the pathway at later intermediates such as oxaloacetate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate.

4. Zero

If the membrane is impermeable to all ions , no ions will flow across it , there will be no electric potential across it.
