A union organizer must have excellent communication skills and should be enthusiastic and motivated.
Being as a union organizer, I would make sure that every individual is having their union member rights i.e. basic benefits, right to health benefit, right to assemble, and right to perform collective bargaining for new rights. It is necessary to enforce new rules for the workplace in the organization and keep updated with the new work condition. As workplace plays a crucial part in enhancing the employee working and make them more productive.
At some point, the union organizer can take risk for the employee rights by conducting rallies or strike event.
Before being a union organizer, One must make sure that he/she should be trustworthy. Trust is the pillar which help in binding the union employee. Trust can be achieved with time and emotional attachment which is quite challenging in the unionization process. Secondly, when you are union organizer, the expectations are high which can be another difficulty if he/she fail to satisfy his union member.
In order to overcome those challenges, I'll make sure that no one have trust issues with eachother in the group of organization. Secondly, in the case of expectation, before proceeding to senior organization I'll discuss with the union member related the issues and ask the upper organization to resolve the issue, if they to do so them, i'll make sure to find some another alternative.
