Pollutant is whatever that may pollute something. Here I am going to choose plastic pollutants and their effect on the oceans and the marine life. Such pollutants have a direct effect. Recently you must have heard in the news about a big whale with a plastic bucket in her mouth found dead on the beach or about the dolphin babies who were died after drinking contaminated water in the ocean. Thus, the species are killed directly or indirectly by all such pollutants. Almost 84% sea turtles and 44% seabird and 43% of all the animals that live in the ocean are affected by the plastic that we through in the ocean. Most of the deaths of species occur due to swallowing of pollutants, starvation, any infection caused by them or suffocation. Even the animals living at a depth more than 2000 m, are not left from such pollutants. Such pollutants are getting collected in the oceans.
