Answer #1

Answer:

Molecule 1: Cortisol / Decrease

Explanation: Cortisol is an important component of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and produced by adrenal gland. High cortisol levels are linked to anxiety, stress and mood disorders. Hence, decreasing the cortisol level could treat anxiety/mood disorders.

Molecule 2: Serotonin / Increase

Explanation: Serotonin neurotransmitter in the limbic system / CNS regulate our emotions and mood. Low levels of the serotonin are linked with anxiety, depression and various other psychiatric disorders. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) are class of drugs that are used to treat these disorder which increases the serotonin levels in the brain.

Preparation Identify a goal that you have for yourself. It could be personal, financial, professional, educational, or health related. Think specifically and realistically about the goal. For example, for a person who wanted to lose 25 pounds, it would not be realistic to plan to lose 20 pounds in one week. Once you have identified your specific and realistic goal, think about how operant conditioning behavioral learning principles can be used to help you reach the goal. Create a plan...

We are used to seeing molecules drawn in two dimensions, since that is the easiest way to describe them, However, computers allow us to visualize molecules in a manner closer to how they would really look if we could see them at an atomic level. In these three-dimensional representations, double and triple bonds are shorter than single bonds, but are not necessarily represented by multiple lines. A standard color scheme is used to represent elements, with grey or black representing...

I will not accept any loose sheets 1) Identify non-price factors that would cause the demand curve to move right or left. 2) Next, draw (individual graphs) indicating how each of the following non-price factors would cause the change in demand curve (shift right, shift left), price (P) and quantity (Q). You need to draw a market equilibrium curve (i.e. both the demand and supply) for each of the following before you can shift the demand...
