Maternal effect genes determine the phenotype of the progeny based on the genotype of the mother. These genes are present in the oocyte even before it undergoes fertilization to form a zygote. Hence, maternal effect genes do not depend on the genotype of the father. So if the mother has both recessive phenotype then the progeny will be defective irrespective of the father's genotype. In the given case, we see that m allele is the recessive allele. So presence of homozygous recessive in the mother will produce defective progeny. So females with m/m mutation will produce defects.

So the correct option is: Option 4 and 5.
