  • Mitochondria is a double membrane bound organelle , It is involvedin production of most of energy in cell in presence of Oxygen
  • Chloroplast and mitochondria are assumed to be as primitive cells which undergone endosymbiosis .Chloroplast is involved in the photosynthesis ,where CO2 is fixed and converted into carbohydrates.
  • Peroxisomes are single membrane bound organelle which are mainly involved in lipid metabolism and hormonal biosynthesis. It is oxidative in function, it also utilses the H2O2(hydrogen peroxide) produced in cell ,which is very reactive species, to either converted it into water molecule or oxidation of other organic molecules.
