Complementary strand : 3’TACGCATATGCAAGGCAGCGGATT 5’

Adenine base pairs with Thymine by two hydrogen bonds and

Guanine base pairs with Cytosine by three hydrogen bonds

Adenine and Guanine = Purines

Thymine and Cytosine = Pyrimidines
