One of the most significant differences she brings out in terms of caring person and care as a virtue is that the former is done by someone who has a motive and personal relationship with another, while the latter refers to expanding this caring to everyone across borders thus making the society a better place to live. This would mean that people could use care as a virtue to build interdependency, promote trust, develop collaboration and view everyone on the planet as one single unit. This would mean that when people develop care as a virtue, they would go beyond the differences in helping others who are in need irrespective of whether they are related or not. It's part of the feministic view of ethics and it operates just like mothers care for their children.
