‘How does it feel to be a problem’ was one of the most important questions that brought out the discriminatory and indifferent attitudes of the white people. Instead of abolishing slavery and rectifying the issues the black people faced, white people branded the black people themselves as a problem. If they are asked to fix themselves, how would they fix, without the necessary means and tools to fix them. It is still relevant even after 100 years and today institutional racism poses a great threat to black people and they are asked pursue a common American dream while they are not treated equally or not given equal opportunities in the society because they are considered as a problem.
