1. According to the hemispheric laterization the hemisphere are responsible for performing different functions.

(a) The motor nerves comes from the both hemisphere and left hemisphere is responsible for controlling right part of the body and the right hemisphere is responsible for controlling left part of the body. So if one side does not work then the responsible half side of the body will also not function. So this option is incorrect.

(b) The hemisphere receives input from the opposite side of the body by the spinothalamic tract. So this option is correct.

(c) The language center or Broca's area which actually process the language then it sends the command to the motor control center which moves the facial muscles and mouth like- tongue, lips jaw and words comes out. So this option is incorrect.

(d) No the hemisphere left controls the right side of the body & right hemisphere controls the left side of the body. So this option is incorrect.

(e) No the hemisphere is some how related they needs to communicate but they might be works independently. So this option is incorrect.

The correct answer- (b) has a sensory area that receives input from the opposite side of the body.

(b) Yes the anterior pituitary releases the stimulating hormone which influences the other gland to release the hormone. For example the TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) is released by the anterior pituitary and the TSH causes to release T3 & T4 . So this option is correct.

(c) The hormone oxytocin and vasopressin are released by the posterior pituitary gland. So this option is incorrect.

(d) The axon terminal of the hypothalamus is actually stimulate the anterior pituitary is composed of epithelial secretory cells. So this option is incorrect.
