2. Focus on the interview
The interviewer must make sure that he is completely engaged with the candidate that is putting away laptop, mobile phone and other distractions and he must be an active listener
For example attending some call in between the interview and asking the candidate to repeat the answer will create a negative impression about the interviewer and even the company.
3. Include all stakeholders- For an effective interview utilize all the staff who is able to interact with the particular position as panel members and also provide buy-in from stakeholders and allows their participation, the process must be completely transparent.
