Differences between DNA and RNA polymerase:

  1. DNA polymerase adds deoxyribonucleotides in the newly synthesised DNA. Where as RNA polymerase adds ribonucleotides on the newly strand RNA.
  2. DNA polymerase adds nucleotides on the 3' end of primer. Where as RNA polymerase does not require primer.

Additional information:

DNA polymerase involves in replication whereas RNA polymerase involves in transcription proces.
