3 During the start of my career, I have been exposed to the Auditing and assurance profile which helped me to see the financial world from Auditors point of view where the major focus is to ensure the financial statement reflect the true and fair view of business performance. This gives an opportunity to meet the clients of different industry and also the business/ process understanding of different sector. From a soft skill stand point it helped me to develop a communication skill as we need to collaborate with the business leaders of the client which help in developing and improvising skill of getting things done. For an auditor, it is always very important to maintain professional skeptism which help in doing more and more deep dive into the subject matter. It also help to understand the accountant perspective of doing things which help in becoming the subject matter expert. 4 Geography has a huge role to play in our life. I have been to multiple countries to work on the audit and accounting assignment, every country and geography has its own way or working and seeing things. It is very important to understand the way of working whenever we visit to new place/ country. Getting an exposure of working in multiple geography help in seeing the bigger picture and also help in learing the trick of communicating with people not belonging to your nation. It also help to build the confidence level of an Individual of talking to person from different geography. The person who has an exposure of working in multiple countries are tend to more extroward as compared to other people who is not exposed to multiple geography. When the question comes to how it would impact your future- The best answer is that it would help to take a decision whether you want to settle down in a new country or not and if yes which geography would suit you more in terms of country culture and standard of living etc.
