Question 3 (10 points) In your own words, explain emotional labour, and the emotional intelligence hierarchy. Give examples.

During the work, its refers to the situation when someone need to hide or suppress their own emotions. Its a process of managing feelings and expressions to fulfil the emotional requirement of jobs is called emotional labor. For example, retails jobs and customers services required huge amount of emotional labour, as workers need to behave happy in front of customers,even when they are having bad day.

Emotional intelligence is about the capability to manage and understand the emotions of yourself or also those around you and emotional intelligence hierarchy mean the various stages of elements/qualities to achieve emotional intelligence that are stated below.
1. Self awareness(self-confidence, accurate self assessment, emotional self awareness) tiy
2. Self Management(Trustworthiness, adaptability, motivations, initiative)
3. Social Awareness(empathy, organisational awareness, understanding the environment)
4. Social Skills(influence, teamwork, collaboration, developing others)
