Answer #1

-Blood is normally slightly basic,with a normal range about 7.35 to 7.40.

-There are 3 important mechanisms uses our body to regulate pH. 1)Chemical buffer 2)Respiratory system 3)urinary system,these 3 mechanisms work together to keep body pH with that range.

-Alkalosis Acid base balance occurs due to significant changes in the blood pH .Alkalosis refers to an excess of base in the blood that causes the pH to rise above 7.45.

-Chemical symbol of carbonic acid -H2CO3

-The hydrogen ion represented by the symbol H+

-Bicarbonate ion is a polyatomic ion represented by HCO3-

-In the human body, many chemical reactions in equilibrium.most important one is H2O+CO2\leftrightarrowH2CO3\leftrightarrow H++HCO3-

-Carbonic anhydrases This enzyme maintains acid-base balance and helps to transport carbon dioxide and help to regulate pH and fluid balance.

- To the left

-H2O+CO2\leftarrow H2CO3\leftarrowH++HCO3-

- (a) to the right

-H2O+CO2\rightarrowH2CO3\rightarrowH++HCO3-

-If H+ increases,decreases the pH.

-The kidney increases their excretion of H+,decreases to reabsorption of H+

-pH increases

-The kidney increases the excretion of HCO3-, decreases to the reabsorption of HCO3-.

-Decreases in cell pH.

-Chemical stimulis are carbon dioxide,hydrogen ions and oxygen levels are most important factors to regulate our respiration,Chemorecepters such as sensory receptersa that may detect CO2,H,and O2 levels in the blood.
