Answer #1

The answer is B. Inside spongy bone. The spongy bone is mostly found in the vascular and and proximal part of bones and consists of bone marrow. Since the spongy bone is less compact and provides ample space for bone marrow. It can accommodate bone marrow and also provide space for various vascular stations inside the bone.

A. Compact bone from the peripheral part of the bone and they are less vascular. Do not consist of much free spaces hence they cannot support the bone marrow. It forms a canal for the bone marrow and provide it protection.

B.Haversian canal help to accommodate nerve fibres and capillaries in bone by maintaining the rigidity of bone. They do not provide space for bone marrow.

C.Lamellae are the layers of of collagen fibres that form the bone. They do not acommodate the bone marrow.
