Answer #1

Starbucks looks for workers with different qualities including productivity , efficiency, self-motivation, adaptability, enthusiasm, innovation and team spirit. Nevertheless, certain individual problems can occur when handling these types of individuals. A motivated and imaginative individual, for example, may be particularly ambitious. Instead of that, in an effort to rise, he might sacrifice the ethical norms. In fact, individuals with the above-mentioned skillset need their work to offer comparatively higher financial and non-financial rewards. Besides, their morale and job satisfaction require demanding work environment.

We could lose confidence in the job and leave the business in the absence of these factors. Starbucks thus has to supply the staff with both inherent and extrinsic incentives for keeping the employee happy and maintaining them. Employees in the supermarket industry continue to work together in teams to provide an outstanding customer experience. However, by recruiting workers with the stated skillset, Starbucks may address those team problems. A committed and self driven person , for example, will not be a strong team player. These workers may lack effective contact and collaboration with their colleagues to attain their individual goals. This could result in the consumers receiving bad service. Furthermore, different team members can have varying perspectives on a specific topic. This may be contributing to tension between them. It may also add to competition and contentiousness.
