HR can maintain high levels of personal and professional integrity and act as an ethical agent to promotes core values, integrity, and accountability throughout the organization by developing core competencies. those competencies can be learned throughout the job or can be inherited. Ethical practice can be maintained by involving in making rational decisions and balancing the needs of the company with the needs of the individual employees. HR managers and professionals create a fine line between legal and ethical decisions, so it is critical to developing the ability in Ethical Practice if they expect to be successful. The managers can develop such competency that involves practice as well as self-examination to work o themselves. The managers can maintain integrity throughout the organization by developing an environment of trust among the employees so that they can contribute their maximum to the company as well. Another way is by providing them training and encouraging open communication all around the organization. By this way, the HR professionals can maintain high levels of personal and professional integrity, and act as an ethical agent as well.

For instance, constantly reviewing and discussing with employees of the company, the policies on ethics, privacy, and confidentiality brings transparency and integrity.
