Creative pause is a deliberate stop to one’s thought process or a group’s thought process in order to deliberately focus on a particular topic or area in order to gain new insights. This would mean that when people continuously talk or discuss about something, they may miss some key elements of that issue and taking a creative pause would help them look for new possibilities and solutions. For example, when an individual think about the same issue the individual might get stuck but taking a walk, listening to music, go out of the room for some fresh air, observing other people would all might refresh the brain and land some new ideas that would work.
