Answer:

Traditionally we have seen the three types of BPM process which are Human-centric, Document centric, and the Integration Centric.

The BPM process helps in the alignment of resources, technology, and process towards the strategy to gain a competitive advantage.

Human-centric: This approach considers that there is a process that must be completed by humans only and they consider humans as an important part of the achievement of the strategic objectives. This approach focuses on the development of the process flow of the task where humans are involved.

Document centric This approach of BPM is more relevant for the organizations which largely depends on the flow of the documents. For example, in the case of a law firm, there is a lot of documents that get created and flows from one team to another team therefore it is important to have a process defined for the flow of the documents. The organization of document flow enhances the effectiveness of the processes in the organizations.

Integration Centric: This approach is basically the integration of the above two types of BPM process where the focus is more on the integration and automation of works. The integration of different processes with the help of computer systems and focus is on the creation of the service-oriented architecture.
