Answer #1

Cladogram lines a group of common organisms with a last common ancestor. There are many different shapes of cladograms but they all have lines that branch of from other lines. These branching of points represent hypothetical ancestor.

The answer is C.

Each branch point in a cladogram represents divergence of two species from common ancestor and location of branch indicate how recent the divergence have occurred.

Here, both the specis A and F have common ancestor, there is a second branch point from the bottom of main evolutionary line.

Since G and H derived from ancestor that diverged from main line at earlier point, they do not share a common ancestor with species F.
