Behavioral analysis
Behavior analysis is a natural science that seeks to understand the behavior of individuals. That is, behavior analysts study how biological, pharmacological, and experiential factors influence the behavior of humans and nonhuman animals. Recognizing that behavior is something that individuals do, behavior analysts place special emphasis on studying factors that reliably influence the behavior of individuals, an emphasis that works well when the goal is to acquire adaptive behavior or ameliorate problem behavior. The science of behavior analysis has made discoveries that have proven useful in addressing socially important behavior such as drug taking, healthy eating, workplace safety, education, and the treatment of pervasive developmental disabilities (e.g., autism).
Political analysis
Political analysis comes into play in most policy making environments and hence may not pertain just to the field of politics but also is an often used term in marketing and related fields.
What we can refer to as a “political system” is usually very dynamic and almost never static. Political analysis is mostly about assigning reasons to the changes that these researchers observe. Some studies in this area also describe “what if?” scenarios using existing facts and workable assumptions. Political scientists are quite skeptical! They conduct studies questioning analyses and debating hypotheses.
The conclusions from political analyses influence strategies being formulated; any strategy being formulated for a company, or even for the government.
Ethical Analysis
Ethical analysis is a systematic approach to figuring out the right moral decision in a particular situation. By analyzing the situation logically, in accordance with your ethical code, you can figure out which options are both effective and moral. Ethical analysis principles encourage you to form an accurate picture of the situation and think through the effect of your decisions before you act. In business, you can use ethical analysis to get your company back on track when your coworkers or supervisors perform unethical actions.
