The three reasons that led Rhoades to explain that the aerospace industry is a special case are as follows:

1. The aerospace industry has been subjected to different standards and industries from time to time.

2. The economic impact on the aerospace industry

3. Lack of investment and planning from the local and the national governments to increase the capacity.

The industry is in the mature stage because the aerospace industry has seen it times of growth and stages where the industry was accruing profit and revenue. However, over time, this industry has lost investment from a major player, along with the increased standards and regulations many companies are on the verge of becoming bankrupt with growth options very low.
