Human resource management in such a cannot be clearly classified into good or bad. It depends on the position for which the person is hired. If the person is hired for a low capability mechanical or secretarial job, hiring for attitude and then training is a bad approach since weightage of attitude in such kind of jobs is quite less. Working in such kind of job is based only on instruction received from superiors.

If the hiring is for a high position and creative job like management position in a company, then hiring for attitude is good thing, because in long run, attitude of person matters. Person with a go-getter attitude will be beneficial for future of company. Training on aspects like technical and administrative roles can be done and it can be easily adopted by such person with good attitude
