Both poly A polymerase and CCA polymerase are member of nucleotidyltransferase family of proteins. Both are template independent. Poly A polymerase add poly A tail at the 3' end of mRNA (this tail prevents mRNA degradation). CCA polymerase add -CCA group at the 3' end of immature tRNA. Both these events happen post transcriptionally.
