a)INSTRUMENTAL ERRORS

They are caused if the instruments are not properly calibrated.

b)METHOD ERRORS

They are caused on adding an excess or less of a reagent than what is required (example:during titration).It can also arise if the reagents are not added in the correct order.

c)PERSONAL ERRORS

They occur due to recording of wrong data,or data recorded by a person sensitive to colour changes.

All the above errors would affect the value of molar mass.The value of molar mass will go up or down depending entirely on the value of error,i.e. the value of molar mass is directly proportional to the value of error.
