Answer #1

A biological polymer that carries genetic information has monomers that consist of five carbon sugar, a nitrogenous base and a phosphate group.

Nucleotide are monomers linked with bond and composed nucleic acid polymer. This nucleotide has three parts, first as a nitrogenous base, secondly a five carbon sugar and third as a phosphate group.

Phosphate group and sugar are linked in a covalent bond named as phosphodiester bond and this is the main structure of RNA and DNA.
