They also provide critical resources for their many host specific parasites including lies in eat only feathers flies adapted for living on birds and mites that hitchhike on birds from plant to plant and even between countries some words are considered keystone species as their presence or absence in an ecosystem affects other species directly indirectly as an example woodpeckers create cavities that are used by many other species. Biotic factors that affect a fish are the larva eats the birds that eat other fish that it has to compete with or even the algae that provide its oxygen as we all know that the biotic factors of in ecosystems are all the living organisms that affect other organisms in an ecosystem and include animals plants microorganisms their organisms and even animal waste Birds play a very important role in influencing the biotic ecosystem as they play a role in Reproduction of plants as they fly from one place to other and even to other countries providing species change of plants hence changing the animals species that feed on those plants which in turn influence the whole ecosystem.
