Reflection Paper: Describe a company that went through organizational change. Retell the story as if you were the chief OD specialist and and explain the change you would have led:

  • How you would learn about the change and how you would go about establishing a contract with your Sponsor.
  • How you would go about designing and conducting your diagnosis, including use of any large group interventions.
  • What you would conclude from the diagnosis.
  • How you would feed the data back to the leadership and get their buy-in.
  • How you would ensure that the changes stuck over time.
  • How you would help your client know if the change was working.

Ans 1- We need to understand the change and how the change will be impacting the organization Success.

Establishing contract with your Sponsor –

· Make sure project sponsor understand the change and the criticality of change.

· Clarify the role and responsibility of sponsor.

· Meet regularly and establish good communication with sponsor.

· Learn more about the project management.

· Make the plan and make understand to sponsor to get the buying.

Ans 2- Designing and conducting Diagnosis –

We can perform the following ways to get the data for diagnosis of change important –

· Survey feedback – information collection through survey.

· Team building – Advertisements.

· Sensitivity Training – Advertisement.

· Management by Objective.

· Brain storming.

· Process consultation

· Quality circle.

Ans 3- Conclusion –

Take all the input from the different survey on one place.

Understand the demand and the understanding of peoples with the survey and make the plan to fulfil the gaps.

Ans 4 - We need to prepare a charter in which the following things need to address. -

1. Explain what are the organization development change.

2. Explain the how important this change to organization.

3. Share the expected project cost.

4. Share the lead time to change established.

5. Benefits after the change.

6. Payback time for the cost.

Ans 5- We need to establish the perfect plan with the data input we get from the survey with the time lines to ensure change should not stuck into overtime.

Ans 6- In customer meet program we can explain the plan of change/ organization development and how this will be impacting or give benefits to the clients.

Ex- if the buying the high-class machine – so we can explain to clients that the new product from the new machine will more accurate and precise which improve the our and client quality standards.
