ANSWER :

During the lactic acid fermentation and pyruvate processing, if the pyruvate processing stops, which in turn inhibits the conversion of pyruvate to acetyl CoA, CO2 and NADH (positive feedback control) due to phosphorylation of pyruvate dehydrogenase enzyme. Hence the pyruvate levels over time would also be decrease.
