Answer : Option 4 is correct( pallisade mesophyll and spongy mesophyll)

Explanation: The sequence of different layers in C3 plant is as:

Waxy cuticle---- upper epidermis--- palisade mesophyll------ spongy mesophyll---- vascular bundle( just in side part of spongy mesophyll consists of xylem, phloem, bundle sheath)----- lower epidermis---- waxy cuticle----- stomata(in between lower cuticle cells)

Palisade mesophyll is the third layer which consists of photosynthetic pigment in chloroplast so help in photosynthesis by absorption of sunlight. The spongy mesophyll is present downwards which is loose and irregularly arranged.

In C3 plant carbondioxide combine with RuBP then it form PGA(3 carbon compound) which ultimately form the 6 carbon compound glucose. All this process takes place inside the palisade mesophyll in C3 plants.
