Can someone please explain to me how the inactivation of GSK3 leads to the promotion of glycogen synthesis? I don't need to know about the pathway that occurs before, I just need to know whether the phosphorylation of glycogen synthase A or B stimulates glycogen synthesis, and what states they normally exist in.

glycogen synthase kinase 3 phosphorylates the glycogen synthase a and converts it to the inactive form glycogen synthase b, so the active glycogen synthase can inhibit the glycogen synthesis if the glycogen synthase kinase is inhibited , the protein phosphatase can remove the phosphate groups from the inactive glycogen synthase b and convert it to active glycogen synthase a, so that glycogen synthesis occurs.

the form of glycogen synthase depends on the signals, the insulin inhibits GSK3 so the levels of glycogen synthase a increases, glycogen synthesis increases and glucagon inhibits PP1, which removes the phosphate group from the glycogen synthase b and activates it so that the levels of glycogen synthase b increase, so glycogen is not synthesized.
