When adrenaline is removed then the GTPase activity of G protein converts GTP into GDP which interrupt signal transduction.Along with it cell also have phosphodiesterase activity which changes CAMP to AMP and addition of phosphate group to alpha subunit of phosphorylase is done by PK A ( protein kinase a).Protein phosphatase get activated which removes the phosphate group from glycogen phosphorylase so the glycogen will not be degraded.
