Boyden Chamber assay
1. Transwell migration assay hollow plastic chamber, sealed at one end with a porous membrane.
2. Cells are placed inside the Chamber and allowed to migrate through the pores, to the other side of the membrane.
3. Migratory cells are then stained and counted.

In cancer cells Metastasis is the important process enables cellular migration and invasion into healthy host tissue.
So, cancer cells migrate the chamber more than the normal cells to the other side of the membrane.
