I believe the false statement to be:

Option C) Frameshift mutations often result in a truncated protein product, similar to a nonsense mutation.

because while nonsense mutation leads to truncated product, frameshift mutation will result in a protein but that protein's sequence and structure would be completely different than what it was suppose to be and hence nonfunctional but the protein will be produced nontheless.
