Ques-1.How you have demonstrated your ability to be a leader .

My leadership competence knowledge: Nursing informatics has specific impact on the role of health care workers and clinicians to maintain efficient patient’s electronic health care records using information technology tools. In order to automate the aspects of acquisition of patient health information and management, TIGER initiative has implemented in the year 2007. The major competences of nursing informatics to automate the aspect of patient’s information are through technical competences, leadership competences and utility competences. These competences are helpful to nurses to use computers & information technology during their ethical based practice, education & research to deliver ethical based decisions finally attain efficient patient’s health outcome in health care organization. However, it is not possible to automate the aspect of wisdom that we have in nursing practice because technical tools and computer software employed in the nursing practice are simply based on “programming” & specific software input given to the specific clinical outcome. The informatics is not going to unravel patient’s ethical beliefs, emotional aspects with respect to health, pain perception. For examples, the following are the questions, which cannot be automated in the aspect of wisdom. How is the patient’ pain and psychological feeling about the chronic illness? What sort of emotions he/she is getting during the treatment or during medication? What type of religious beliefs or ethical based beliefs patient’ possessing inside his psychological thinking. The information about these questions cannot be automated (the aspect of wisdom) and cannot be obtained from a patient using information technology & specific nursing informatics. Some computer tools only can automated for patient’s health care data and information by the nurses finally nurses can make them into wisdom base. Therefore, registered nurses must ensure in providing efficient healthcare based on leadership competences by maintaining specific electronic health care documentation. Nurses must obtain recorded information from the patients about the type of emotional feeling they are getting at the time of medication or treatment in person finally advice their carers to approach immediately if any adverse or unwanted clinical or health care situation arises during medication.

University of Minnesota is vey suitable to me for my nursing profession due to availability of sophisticated computer tools, clinical research centers, hospitals. There are clinical informatics professionals to guide me and to teach me for my efficient future nursing practice. Most renowned, experienced health care framework is available in the University to obtain my nursing practice skills in the interdisciplinary team.

Various ethical issues are associated with during care based nursing practice. Therefore, I would like to contribute to obtain a better clinical outcome by respecting respect patient autonomy, patient’s individual choices and beliefs (ex. Moral, religious). Finally, I will take a decision for clinical implimentation as per clinician prescription & healthcare framework. Patient’s have right to be given all the risk factors, adverse effects & benefits that are associated with medication. I will provide a systemic and reflective method of approach to convey sufficient information & reasons for patient’s moral beliefs during informatics based nursing practice.
