Im new to solid works and I need help creating this object and drawing on Solidworks, Please give me specific instructions on how to do this assignment. Sending screenshots of steps on solid works would be very much appreciated!

  1. Select the front plane and then click on the sketch option.
  2. Sketcher workbench will option.
  3. Use line and circle option to draw the front view as shown in the attached photo. Give all given dimensions to the sketch.
  4. After creating closed profile closed the sketcher workbench by using the option "EXIT".
  5. Give the thickness of 0.250 to the sketch by using the option" Extruded Bass/Box".(fill thickness value then click ok)
  6. Then give fillet to the two edges of 0.005 radius this is by simply selecting the lineline.
  7. Select 'Hole' option for give hole to the part(select part face where you want hole - give require dimensions for hole Positioning - give hole size- ok). Select hole type threaded for first hole.
  8. Follow the same procedure as point 7 only select hole type 'simple'.
  9. Now your part is ready save it to the proper location.

ASSEMBLY:-

  1. Click new - assembly- ok. Assembly workbench will open.
  2. Browse part by clicking the option ' BROWSE'. Browse part from saved location (select part name- open- click in assembly workbench window).
  3. First part is fix and other is rotating.
  4. Use ' Mate' option for assembling the part at their require location(select profile or surface as per requirement and click ok).
  5. Then browse hardware from library and assemble as describe in the point 4.
  6. You will get your final assembly.
