An engineer plays an important role in the construction process. He is employed by the owner and manages the contractor on behalf of the owner. But if the owner thinks he is incompetent, does he have the right to replace the Engineer?

Depends on Agreement between Owner and Engineer.If there is no agreement between owner and Engineer, he can replace him.If there is agreement between them up to some time period, he can't replace him up to that time period.
