Answer #1

Effect of reaction time on reaction Abs, 0 20 40 60 100 120 140 160 80 TimeEffect of reaction time on reaction-- According to data provided, Absorption of chromophore increases with the reaciton time. It has a linear relation with the time of the reaction.

Effect of substrate concentration Abs. Series1 50 200 250 100 150 Substrate concentrationEffect of Substrate concentration on reaction-- As the substrate concentration increases the absorbtion of your chromophore also increases which indicates that substrate concentration is dominant factor of the reaction.Reaction varies linearly with the substrate concentration.

Effect of pH on reaction Abs. 6 6.5 7 7.5 8 9 9.5 10 10.5 11 8.5 pH

Effect of pH on reaction-- As per the data provided, it seems absorption increases with pH linearly untill pH reaches a value of 9. At pH 10 it voilates the linear relation, curve becomes somewhat flat.

as the absorption increases with pH , at pH 10 the activity of enzyme will be maximum.

Effect of temperature on reaction Abs. 10 20 60 70 80 30 40 50 Temperature(C)

.Effect of temperature on the reaction---- Usually arhenius equation governs the temperature effect on any reaction i.e K= A.e-ea/RT. The rate of the reaction increases exponentially with the temperature. your data also follows the same trend. The absorption increases exponentially upto 35oC then it decreases and does not follow what the arhenius equation explains.
