False.because many other enzymes in the chloroplast, particularly several in the reductive pentose phosphate cycle, are also light/dark modulated . In these cases, a redox cascade generated by light plays a major role. In the light, electrons from photosystem I are shuttled through ferredoxin and ferredoxin–thioredoxin reductase to target enzymes via thioredoxins that reduce disulfide bonds in these proteins and thereby change their catalytic activities. Although both Rubisco and Rubisco activase contain numerous cysteines, no clear evidence that these proteins are redox regulated has been reported
