Answer #1

Question 21

The interstitial fluid or the extracellular fluid as it is sometimes called .

extracellular fluid is located just outside the cell i.e it surrounds cells and its amount is 1/3 rd of total body fluid . it contains lymph and blood plasma and tissue fluid . this fluid fills space between cells .

contains metabolic wastes of the cell ( helps to remove metabolic waste) and contains nutrients ( such as amino acid ,sugar, water, fatty acid, hormone, enzyme ) hence 1st option is right .

extracellular fluid may be build up in body when lymphatic duct is blocked by any diseases ( such as filaria ) .lymphatic blockage may cause lymphedema i.e swelling due to execieve extracellular fluid formation . hence 4th option is also right .

the extracellular fluid is secreted by cells to maintain a constant environment outside the cells i.e it constantly being added to hence this option is also right .

2nd option - all of these correct is the right option .

Question 22

The sino - atrial node or SA node

causes the ventricles to contract .( 2nd option )

SA node is the pace maker of heart it continuously creates impulse or action potential throughout the heart which is responsible for the contraction of heart muscle . hence this is the right option .

SA node is situated in the wall of right atrium hence 4th option i.e SA node situated at the wall of left atria cant be right .

as option 4 is wrong hence all option cant be right therefore 1st option ( all of this right ) is also wrong .

SA node is controlled by parasymphathetic ( originated in brain ) and symphathetic nerve and neurotransmitter (acetylcholine) .these nurotransmitter is responsible for action potential generation . i.e SA node do not directly receive impulse from brain . hence 3rd option cant be right .

Question 23

The heart atria

it receives de oxygenated blood from venacava or veins therefore 4th option ( receive blood ) is right .

it is not located in fish gills hence 2nd option cant be right .

as 2nd option is wrong therefore all option cant be right i.e 1st option ( all of these correct ) is also wrong .

heart atria contains deoxygenated blood mainly and little amount of interstitial fluid ( blood plasma ) . it do not contains large amount of interstitial fluid as interstitial fluid located outside the cell hence 3rd option cant be right option .
