Answer #1

Bacteria and Archaeans:

- Do not have a true nucleus

-Inhabits nearly all of Earth's environments

(Bacteria and archaea are the single-celled, smaller than eukaryotic cells and are categorised under the category of prokaryotes. They have no nucleus and do not have organelles. Prokaryotes dominate the Earth and live almost everywhere, even inside of our bodies. All prokaryotic cells are encased by a cell wall and have a capsule or slime layer made of polysaccharide. They have specialised structures like flagella, fimbriae and pili for locomotion. They lack the true nucleus which means that the genetic material is not enclosed in a membrane but is freely floating single circular chromosome and smaller pieces of circular DNA called plasmids)

Both:

- Have a cell membrane

(Both prokaryotes and eukaryotes have cell membrane surrounding the cellular components. Both have a phospholipid layer in their cell/plasma membrane. Bacteria and eukaryotes have a bi-lipid layer whereas some archaeal cells have mono-lipid layer instead of the bi-lipid layer)

Eukaryotes:

- Have a true nucleus

- Have a complex structure with many types of organelles

(Eukaryotic cells are bigger than the prokaryotic cells and they have a true nucleus because the nucleus houses the cell's DNA surrounded by a membrane. This nucleus directs the synthesis of proteins. Eukaryotic cells have distinct organisation and compartmentalisation of membrane-bound organelles which are the specialized structure found inside cells to carry out a specific life process. Example, Ribosomes, Golgi apparatus, Endoplasmic Reticulum, vacuole etc.)

    4. Development of organelles Aa Aa 3 Modern eukaryotic cells are very complex and have many features that allow them to function efficiently. These complexities took a very, very long time to evolve and likely progressed as a series of small improvements that were naturally selected. For example, modern eukaryotic cells have internal membranes surrounding their organelles and the nucleus. This arrangement likely arose when the cellular membranes of some ancient bacterial cells accidentally folded to become internal membranes. Which...
