Viruses insert their genetic material into organism's DNA in
order to replicate.
Antibiotic targets on particular part of Bacteria thus it cannot
kill viruses as the viruses and bacteria have different parts eg.
Cellwall of bacteria affected by antibiotic while virus do not have
cellwall.
Antibiotics blocks the formation and functioning of cellwall in
bacteria then they do not divide and hence die while virus do not
have their machinery of own they enters the human body and use our
cells as their machinery so by antiviral agents it affects our own
cells, it destroys our own cells so it is difficult to form and use
antiviral agents.
