Answer #1

Ans- In type II hypersensitivity antibody and antigen interact to activate the complement pathway for cell lysis. example of type II hypersensitive reaction is Rh incompatibility of a newborn, blood transfusion, autoimmune hemolytic anemia.

type III hypersensitivity is also mediated by IgM and IgG antibody. this antigen and antibody complex activates complement pathway and which result in PMN chemotaxis and activation.

so the correct answer is type II and III hypersensitivities, activated complement pathways play role in type II and III hypersensitivities
