Many factors depend on the growth of the microorganisms.

1. Physical Requirements.

  • Temperature
  • pH
  • Osmotic pressure

2. Chemical Requirements

  • Carbon
  • Nitrogen, Sulphur, and Phosphorus
  • Oxygen and other elements

There are many types of cultures are using. For bacterial culture we use.

  1. Broth culture
  2. Agar Culture
  3. Stab Culture
  4. Solid plate culture for thermophilic microorganisms

For Virus and Phage culture we need a host cell in order to multiply.

Eukaryotic Cell Culture

Cell culture is the process by which cells are grown under controlled conditions, generally outside their natural environment. These conditions vary for each cell type.
